This Week's Picture Book: "Miss Nelson is Missing!" by Harry Allard

Visiting an old favorite today! I loved this book when I was a kid. It's amazing how menacing Miss Viola Swamp was when I was little. It's always exciting to feel that same rush of emotion twenty-some-odd years later. James Marshall's illustrations are so wonderfully simple and perfect without crowding the story.
